During first semester of World History, there were certain things that worked for me very well, and some that didn't. It seems that reading the textbook for homework and in class helps me a lot for remembering the material. Also, working on the notebooks (not a ton though) and getting a lecture from the teacher help me learn the material very well. There wasn't really anything that didn't work me, except for reading the text really fast and having to answer questions afterwards with a partner. I didn't really get enough time to "take in" the material.
I would keep the reading, notebooks, and lectures for sure. A lot of the projects are helpful too,and being able to work with classmates. I would totally keep all of those the same. I would change reading the text fast though, because I feel we all just needed a little bit more time to read and understand the material before answering questions about it. I am looking forward to learning about more periods of time in history and about new people, because I really like this class and I find it very interesting.
