I believe that trade changed the world the most between 1400 and 1800. It introduced many new technologies, ideas, goals, places, and foods to the old world. One result of trading was the Colombian Exchange (The transfer of plants, animals, and diseases between the eastern and western hemispheres), which had a huge impact on the world's culture and environment. Another result that was not so good was the Great Dying, which killed off tons of Indian people from disease. From trading, the Europeans were able to expand their culture and people around the world starting with the Americas. There, they found new foods, met new people, and began to think differently and set different goals.
